Does anyone know how to use sand beds in their tanks. I havent done this with mine but my brother is setting up his tank and has sand. He said that their is a certain way you have to put the sand in the tank. Is this true?

there is video on youtube.com    subject is something like... setting up a nano tank. you can look for it or whatever.   but he just simply poured the sand in after he put in the live rock and saltwater.
