Has any one had these fish in there tanks? Are they good for pets? I have someone who wants me to take theirs kinda hesitant because there toxic

I have never had this in my tank I found many articles on how they are voracious predators. They are very beautiful!

No I never had them but they look very nice but they are venomous and fish/invertebrate safe, they eat them, but they are ok with coral.

Be very careful when handling one of these bad boys as a sting from one of their spikes can leave you in a bad mood for the rest of the day or even two! These are very nice fish that need to have a moderately large tank to grow in. I've seen there paired with other large fish such as puffers but anything smaller will probably be eaten.

I had the pleasure of seeing one recently and they are beautiful but I have kids that love the fish and I would hate for them to touch it and get hurt you know.

Lion Fish can hurt badly , so be carefull while keeping it in your tank

I have seen on, my father use to have one and he use to always say stay away from them. They aren't as friendly as they seem. But he never paired them in the tank with smaller fish, always with fish of either the same size or smaller.

yes i have seen the lion fish. i dont have in my own aquarium because they tries to be difficult. i saw that in my friend's home.

I've never had any luck with these guys. I've stopped buying them because I dont' want to kill anymore. They never eat frozen food and I've spent a lot of money of mollies trying to feed these guys. I have a better time feeding blue spotted sting rays and sharks than I do lion fish.
